Responsible for coordination, prioritizing and enabling daily production activities. Manage daily/weekly output based on material/capacity availability, and proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks. Assist Production Supervisor in ensuring execution of production plan to meet customer requirements. Assist with meeting incentive metrics goals (safety, on-time delivery, efficiency, and productivity).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Inventory Management software (Mapics experience a plus). Good analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of lean practices and continuous improvement tools. Demonstrate the ability to lead by example and to provide guidance and mentoring to peers and to promote team work.
High school diploma/GED. 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required with demonstrated project leadership responsibilities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, stand and walk.
