Kolpak LLC in Parsons, TN, is seeking an Assembler III to perform advanced assembly tasks and support either floater or MOD customization roles for walk-in panels and components. The role requires reading blueprints, managing materials, and maintaining accurate production records in a fast-paced environment.

You will work under the Production Supervisor, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous production flow while adhering to 5S standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing and/or construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measures.
• Ability to perform basic math and reading comprehension.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced assembly operations with minimal supervision.
• Work as a floater or in the MOD’s customization area for walk-in panels.
• Read and interpret complex job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to determine materials and methods.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Maintain production documentation and 5S housekeeping.
• Follow Quality and Safety Management System procedures.

We win together as one team.An Assembler III, performs advanced assembly operations and is assigned either as a floater supporting Assembler I and Assembler II roles or as a specialist in the MOD’s area, where walk-in panels are customized per specific customer orders. This position applies in-depth product knowledge to ensure quality, accuracy, and production continuity across standard and custom assembly operations.Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee*.Major Accountability:SafetyQualityProductionKey Tasks & Responsibilities:Perform advanced assembly operations with minimal supervisionServe in one of the following assignments based on production needs:Assembly Floater Assignment:Fill in for Assembler I and Assembler II positions as needed to support production flow, coverage, and staffing gapsPerform all duties associated with Assembler I and Assembler II roles at a proficient levelMOD’s Assignment:Work in the MOD’s (customization) area, modifying and assembling walk-in panels and components to meet specific customer order requirementsPerform custom panel modifications using approved tools, methods, and work instructionsRead and interpret complex job orders, diagrams, and blueprints to determine correct materials, dimensions, and assembly methodsInspect completed assemblies to ensure conformance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirementsProvide informal guidance and support to less experienced assemblers when needed, without formal supervisory responsibilityOperate hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools required for standard and custom assembly tasksLoad, unload, lift, and move materials and assemblies using appropriate lifting equipment when availableAccurately complete and maintain all required production documentation, including electronic records, checklists, stamps, barcodes, and related paperworkMaintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsPerform all duties in accordance with the Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of ConductActively participate in safety training and promptly address or escalate safety concernsDuties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice and the employee may be assigned additional tasks as needed to support the business operations.Job Requirements:3-5 years Manufacturing and or constructionAbility to read and interpret blueprints and tape measuresIn depth knowledge of the product and components.Perform basic math and reading comprehensionAbility to read, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to stand/walk on concrete for a full shift and work in temperatures above 95°FAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and lift 50 lbs alone; lift more than 50 lbs with assistanceAbility to handle tools safely and inspect finished productsMust be able to wear PPEOur Benefits:We believe that our people our one of our most valuable assets.
