Job summary

Badger Meter in Solon, IA, is seeking an Assembler II to assemble parts per drawings and work instructions. You may rotate through different assembly tasks across the facility.

Responsibilities include using hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools, operating laser and engraver for modified assemblies, and calibrating gas sensors when required. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly/manufacturing desired.
• Understanding of tolerances and ability to use test equipment such as function generators and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Use laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver for modified assemblies per customer specs.
• Calibrate gas to test sensors (Analytical Technologies).
• Record day-to-day activity in Production system and follow work instructions.
• Support safety, quality, delivery and cost improvement initiatives.
