Job summary

Badger Meter Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking an experienced assembler to contribute to precise, high‑quality production for water technology components. You will follow work instructions, maintain tolerances, and operate hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools on multiple product lines.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, quality, and efficiency. Candidates should have 3+ years in assembly, basic testing with multimeters, and ERP/Microsoft Office familiarity.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years in assembly or manufacturing.
  • Proficient with gluing and centering to specific tolerances across multiple product areas.
  • Ability to use function generators and multimeters for testing.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts per Work Instructions and drawings, adhering to tolerance specifications.
  • Operate hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools; use circular saws, deburring tools for modified assemblies.
  • Use laser etcher, dot peen etcher, and engraver for customer-specific modifications (Utility and Flow only).
  • Calibrate gas to test sensors (Analytical Technologies only).
  • Operate basic printing programs to complete and adjust customer orders as needed.
  • Log daily activity in the production system, access work instructions, and track inventory status through LX screens.
  • Prioritize tasks, seek additional information from lead or supervisor, and ensure timely completion.
  • Participate in safety, quality, delivery, and cost continuous‑improvement initiatives.
  • Train department peers and apply basic 5S and lean principles to maintain an efficient workplace.
