Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assembler II to join a production team and assemble Glass Doors, Frames, and subcomponents. You will follow work orders and SOPs to meet daily safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets while using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of production assembly experience, plus basic reading/writing, math, and tape-measure reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies per work orders and standard work.
• Operate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools as required.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area per 6-S program.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments under supervision.
• Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, and tape measures; report defects.
• Follow SOPs and supervisor directions; assist with cross-training.
