Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is hiring an Assembler II to join our production team. You will assemble glass doors, frames, and subcomponents, following traveler instructions and SOPs to meet daily safety, quality, and delivery targets.

You will operate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools, perform inspections with gauges and calipers, and participate in cross-training to support production. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience.
• Basic reading/writing, basic PC and math skills.
• Ability to read a tape measure (fractions & decimals).
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into sub-assemblies and completed units per traveler instructions.
• Use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools as required.
• Maintain clean, safe work area following 6-S program and SOPs.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments under supervision.
• Inspect parts with gauges, calipers, and fixtures; report defects.
• Follow SOPs and assist with cross-training and production support.
