Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assembler II to join a productive team manufacturing glass doors, frames and subcomponents. Follow work orders and SOPs, use hand, electric and pneumatic tools, and meet safety, quality and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include assembling parts into sub-assemblies, inspecting with gauges and calipers, performing minor equipment setups, maintaining a clean 6S workspace, and reporting defects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of production assembly experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and process.
• Ability to read a tape measure and understand fractions and decimals.
• Team-oriented and adaptable to change.
