Job Overview
Lewiston, ID location is seeking Assemblers for our hiring pool. Starting hourly rate is $23.06, plus shift differential for most shifts, increasing to $25.12 after 6 months. Pay range: $18.44 – $24.39, based on experience, location, education, and skills.
Shift Information
- Ability to work any shift including Swing, Weekend Days, and Weekend Swing shifts.
- 10 and 12 hour shifts for the first three months.
- Work between 34.5 to 46 hours per week, depending on department assigned.
- Weekend Swing shift (typically 5pm‑5am, Friday through Sunday) after initial training.
Responsibilities
- Learn and gain proficiency in various assembly operation positions (load lines, packaging lines, inspection) and rotate through each as assigned.
- May also perform duties of an entry‑level machine operator.
- Maintain attendance within established standards and follow work instructions to safely produce, assemble, inspect, and package high‑quality products and components.
- Follow and improve manufacturing processes; document production records and statistics as required.
Requirements
- 1+ year of continuous on‑the‑job experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Minimum age 18 and able to pass a background check, pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Eligible to ship, transport, or possess firearms or ammunition under the Gun Control Act and not prohibited by 19U.S.C.922(g).
- Must complete and pass a post‑employment ATF background check and receive a letter of clearance.
Physical & Mental Requirements
- Physically demanding work: continuous lifting, gripping, turning; handle plates weighing 5 to 30pounds continuously.
- Long hours: 10 or 12‑hour shifts, mostly standing with occasional sitting.
- Good vision required for quality inspection; distinguish colors for some positions; must wear protective eyewear.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fumes; protective earplugs and eyewear required and provided.
- High attentiveness for safety; reading and math comprehension to interpret quality information and complete reporting.
- Interpersonal communication skills to problem‑solve and work effectively as part of a team; flexibility to move between jobs and handle many tasks simultaneously.
