Job summary

Stryker Group in Irvine, CA is seeking an assembler for the 2nd shift to join our medical device manufacturing team. You will assemble components, sub-assemblies and complex parts, preparing and processing medical components for various product lines while following detailed work instructions to ensure quality.

You will monitor documentation, adhere to schedules, operate a range of tools and equipment, and maintain a clean, compliant work area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing (1–3 years or more).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components including sub-assemblies, manual components and complex components to contribute to product completion.
• Prepare and process various medical components for assigned product lines.
• Follow process work instructions and test procedures; monitor and record related documentation to meet quality requirements.
• Adhere to production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times.
• Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices.
• Use tools including manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices.
• Take responsibility for work preparation, clean up, and quality of own work and work area.
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.

Job description

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday- Friday, 3:30PM - 12AM or 3:45PM -12:15 AM, OT Saturdays 2-10:30PM as needed.

What you will do:

• Under general supervision, assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components and complex components and all other related components to contribute to completion of a variety of products
• Prepare and process variety of medical components for assigned product lines
• Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
• Follow production build rates, schedules and meet required cycle times
• Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
• Uses a variety of tools that may include, but are not limited to: manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, test equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices
• Responsible for work preparation, clean up, and quality assurance of own work and work-area
• Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
• Some manufacturing or medical device experience or equivalent
