Eaton Corporation in Duncan, SC is seeking an Assembler II for the 1st shift, with core hours 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Overtime may be required.

The role involves receiving instructions, verifying inventory, labeling, assembling electrical components, data entry, and reading schematics while maintaining safety and quality workmanship. Health benefits start day one along with retirement and education programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No immigration sponsorship or work authorization assistance offered.
• No relocation benefits; residency within 50 miles of Pinckneyville IL facility considered.

Responsibilities

• Receive verbal and written instructions from the Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Verify incoming inventory per packing list and work order, check material for damages, resolve discrepancies and store, stage or modify product.
• Print and verify product labels and carton labels.
• Test components or assemblies for proper orientation and adjust if required.
• Modify and assemble electrical components.
• Use a variety of manual and air powered hand tools.
• Perform basic computer data entry.
• Read and follow basic drawings/schematics for modification of component parts.
• Maintain quality workmanship and observe safety procedures.
