Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembly Technician II - 2nd Shift.

The hours are Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You'll Do

The Assembler II is responsible for meeting daily production targets with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity. This role involves assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and performing all related tasks, including those assigned to Assembler I (Flex and Lean), as well as operating assembly machinery. Additional duties include PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label creation, quality verification, and completing material transactions in AS400.

In This Role, You Will
  • May be required to obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies.
  • Assemble, adjust, or repair components using a variety of tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment; perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking, and painting equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; follow standard operating procedures, method sheets, and both written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks before, during, and after assembly to ensure all products meet specifications; apply identification labels to completed assemblies.
  • Support production flow by retrieving and delivering materials, preparing assemblies for shipment or storage, and completing associated material transactions.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements.
  • Provide support across production areas.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 6 months of industrial manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience using hand and air tools
