Job description

Assembler II position performs manual labor along all stations on the production line, meets labor rates and quality control standards with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
2. Operate production line equipment and hand/power tools efficiently at all workstations to assemble components.
3. Meet standard labor rates while maintaining quality standards.
4. Complete tasks as directed by the Plant Manager with minimal supervision.
5. Communicate and coordinate with co-workers to meet production goals.
6. Complete daily labor sheets and required production documentation.
7. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following safety regulations daily.
8. Follow technical and verbal assembly instructions.
9. Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Ability to build to print at quality level
• Manual dexterity for using various tools and operating machinery
• Mechanical and electrical skills (2-3 years)
• Ability to read bill of materials and work instructions

Physical Demands & Working Environment:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
