The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly and be committed to safety and quality. We are seeking a skilled mechanic/mechanical assembler to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair refrigerant compressors for commercial HVAC systems and their sub-assemblies.
The ideal mechanical assembler should possess manual dexterity, an eye for detail, and knowledge of mechanics. They must be familiar with the proper use and care of both precision measurement tools and assembly tools, and adhere to safety precautions and rules.
A qualified Assembler II should have prior experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in an industrial production environment, performing quality checks, testing, and troubleshooting. Experience with refrigerant compressor assembly or similar complex equipment is advantageous.
The goal is to ensure production operations that are safe, efficient, and produce high-quality products while optimizing procedures.
This role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and experience in electric motor disassembly and assembly. Responsibilities include working with various equipment such as blasting booths, saws, ovens, hoists, and cranes. Flexibility and willingness to cross-train are essential.
