Job summary

REV Group, Inc in North Carolina seeks an assembler to build and install interior and exterior components for ambulances and other emergency vehicles. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and ensure safety and quality throughout production.

You will lead and assist in daily tasks, coordinate with dealers and customers, and pursue development opportunities while contributing to a strong, collaborative team environment at REV Group facilities.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Use common hand tools and power tools (drills, screw guns, caulk guns).
  • Team-oriented, able to follow directions and communicate professionally.
  • Complete drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Install and mount nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware.
  • Assemble fabricated parts and components at stations.
  • Read blueprint and engineering specifications.
  • Ensure safety and manufacturing quality standards are met.
  • Lead and assist personnel in daily production tasks.
  • Communicate tasks and instructions to work cell personnel.
  • Maintain safety standards and be familiar with department processes.
  • Coordinate parts ordering and supervise machine operators.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Installing and mounting nonelectrical and electrical interior/exterior components and hardware
  • Assemble fabricated parts, components, or other units at stations
  • Reading blueprint and engineering specifications
  • Ensure safety requirements and manufacturing quality are met
  • Clean and inspect the product for quality standards
  • Responsible for leading and assisting personnel in the completion of daily production tasks.
  • Responsible for communicating tasks and instruction to work cell personnel.
  • Meet minimum standards of safety per assigned department.
  • Must be familiar with all aspects and processes of the department assigned.
  • Should be able to qualify for the highest ranking job classification within the department assigned.
  • Ensuring that all of the parts are being ordered and put through the system as well as being the lead over the machine operators.
  • This department will have interdepartmental communication to ensure they are receiving the product in a timely manner
  • Responsible for graphic quotes
  • Designing graphics for Ambulances.
  • Ability to work closely with dealers and customers.
Required Education, Skills, And Experience To Be Successful
  • Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure to precise measurements
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and caulk guns
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening
