Job summary

Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Assembler – 1st Shift. The role involves building UPS sub-assemblies and assemblies, following SOPs, and ensuring quality through inspections with various tools.

Overtime opportunities and a clear path for cross-training are offered. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for SOP experience, basic soldering, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• SOP experience preferred.
• Experience in product/electrical assembly desirable.
• Basic soldering experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills including email and data entry appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies using SOPs.
• Perform visual inspections before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble/adjust/repair products.
• Inspect completed assemblies to meet Raleigh Plant Quality standards.
