Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler I for the 2nd shift at the Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. You will build wiring sub-assemblies for UPS battery cabinets, following SOPs and using fixtures, gauges, and power tools to ensure quality.

Candidates should have at least one year in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required; SAP and forklift experience are a plus. Benefits include health, vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
• Willingness to work daily and/or weekend overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for battery cabinets.
• Follow SOPs, perform visual inspections, and use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure Raleigh Plant Quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety rules; participate in 5S+ housekeeping and continuous improvement.
