JOB TITLE: Assembler IDEPARTMENT: ProductionREPORTS TO: Production SupervisorCLASSIFICATION: HourlyPurpose and ScopeAssembler I is responsible for product components and systems according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves working collaboratively with other team members to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of products, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble product components and stems following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.Subassembly - skids, reels, panels, LBs, sensor, carts, vac units.Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble parts and products.Perform quality checks to ensure components are correctly assembled and meet quality standards.Work effectively with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Communicate any issues or concerns with the product Assembly Supervisor or team lead.Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Wear PPE as required and maintain a clean and organized workspace.Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediatelyEnsure all assembled products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications. Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in the assembly process.Assist in troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues to maintain product quality.Complete and maintain accurate records or assembly work, including productions logs and quality checklists.Follow SOPs and document any deviations or improvements.Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, etc.Use company software to perform day-to-day tasks.Responsible for plumbing and fitting compressors. Obtaining job specifics per department.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in assembly or manufacturing are a plus.Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred but not required.
