Job summary

Goldshield Fiberglass in Decatur, Indiana, is seeking dependable team members to inspect parts, patch paint, repair fiberglass and gelcoat, and finish areas to meet cosmetic and functional standards.

You will work with the team to support production flow, maintain a clean and safe work area, and adhere to safety requirements while producing high-quality parts for marine, RV, and heavy equipment applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in patch painting, auto body, fiberglass repair, gelcoat, sanding, finishing, marine, RV, OR related work preferred.
• Ability to complete training/certification and perform duties to quality standards.
• Strong attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Good attention to detail and pride in finished work.

Since 1982, Goldshield has set the bar in the fiberglass industry. Our facility is located in Decatur, Indiana, where we manufacture fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, and Daimler. Goldshield also manufactures fiberglass for school buses, emergency vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.

What You'll Do

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Exposure to noise, styrene vapors, fiberglass dust, fillers, and gelcoat materials.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for sanding, repairing, standing, reaching, and using tools.
• Required PPE must be worn as directed.
