Job summary

Crystal Cabinet Works, Inc. in Princeton, MN, seeks an Assembler I to join our production team. You will attach doors, drawers and hardware to frameless cabinets, following job orders and quality standards.

The role operates on 1st shift from 5:00 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Thursday, with OT on Fridays/Saturdays. Salary grade B, pay range $19.40–$21.55 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting construction orders and prioritizing work.
• Ability to read measurement devices (e.g., tape measure).
• Experience setting up and operating woodworking machines.
• Willingness to perform touch-ups and repairs.
• Knowledge of wood species is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Attach doors, drawers and hardware to frameless cabinets as directed.
• Review construction orders and prioritize work flow.
• Communicate with drafters to clarify jobs and programming as needed.
• Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines.
• Assemble cabinets with special parts or hardware and modify methods as needed.
• Gather and organize parts to meet weekly workloads.
• Perform basic measurement calculations and use tape measures.

Job Summary:

The Assembler I is responsible for attaching doors, drawers, and hardware to Frameless Cabinets.

Job Duties:

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Communicates with drafters as needed to clarify jobs and programming.
• Performs touch-ups and repairs.
• Sets up and operates a variety of machines i.e., chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, pocket screws, etc.
• Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of other departments within the company i.e., drawers, parts, doors as needed to complete jobs.
• Gathers and organizes parts i.e., doors, drawer parts and hardware as needed to complete weekly work load.
• Maintains knowledge of set up to ensure product is properly built.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
• Fills in other areas as needed.
