• Retrieves parts for jobs.
• Fabricates parts as needed, cutting angles, drilling pocket holes and doweling.
• Builds cabinets, gluing, clamping, stapling, screwing i.e., lazy susans, wall cabinets, etc.
• Puts hardware on cabinets.
• Cleans and inspects cabinets.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species.

Schedule and Pay:

1 st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday/Saturday OT after as needed

Salary Grade C

$19.90 - $23.00

Job Summary:

The Special Builder is responsible for building standard, angled frameless cabinets.

Job Duties:

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Retrieves parts for jobs.
• Fabricates parts as needed, cutting angles, drilling pocket holes and doweling.
• Builds cabinets, gluing, clamping, stapling, screwing i.e., lazy susans, wall cabinets, etc.
• Puts hardware on cabinets.
• Cleans and inspects cabinets.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
• Fills in other areas as needed.
