Crystal Cabinet Works, Inc. in Princeton, MN is hiring a Sprayer/Wiper I to spray cabinets and parts with stains and to inspect components for quality. The role runs 1st shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM, with OT on Fridays/Saturdays as needed. Salary Grade B ranges from $19.40 to $21.55 per hour, plus $1.00 paint pay.

The Sprayer/Wiper I will spray, wipe and inspect cabinet parts, monitor quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Comprehensive benefits accompany employment.

Responsibilities

• Sprays and wipes surfaces, frames and cabinets with stains per work order.
• Inspects cabinet parts for correct color, appearance and defects.
• Monitors work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performs fogging to intensify stain coloration to meet specs.
• Tapes component parts, protecting surfaces as needed.
• Performs minor repairs to components as needed.
• Cleans and maintains spray guns and related equipment.
• Keeps the work area clean, safe and orderly.
• Orders attains from the Paint Shed as needed.
• Performs other Paint Department duties as required.

Job Summary:

The Sprayer/Wiper I is responsible for the fundamental spraying of cabinets and/or cabinet parts with stains as well as wiping and inspecting components to meet desired quality specifications.

Job Duties:

• Sprays and wipes surfaces, frames as well as cabinets with stains per work order following specified work priorities.
• Inspects thoroughly the cabinet parts for correct color, appearance and lack of defects.
• Monitors all work to assure that quality standards are being maintained.
• Performs fogging to intensify stains coloration as needed to meet specifications.
• Tapes component parts as needed, protecting specified surfaces.
• Performs minor repairs to components as needed.
• Cleans and maintains spray guns as well as related equipment.
• Maintains the work area in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
