Job summary

Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Frame Fabricator II to join our Princeton, MN team. The role builds face frames for five cabinet lines, applying glue, drilling, and assembling parts to ensure frame squareness and quality.

First shift duties include operating tools, setting jigs, and reading cut sheets. Team members maintain clean workspaces, know wood species, perform math measurements, and support other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all the duties of the Frame Fabricator I.
• Assembles face frames; using stile and rail component parts for the face frames as they are labeled.
• Sets jigs for face frames (or measures for odd size).
• Sets up component parts per paperwork and labels parts for assembly.
• Assures squareness of frame according to product specifications.
• Applies glue to frames.
• Drills pilot holes and screws frame together.
• Wipes off excess glue.
• Moves frame to roller track.
• Sets up and operates auto framer.
• Reviews cut sheet and operates chop saw to cut stiles, rails, fillers, etc. according to specifications.
• Uses table saw to cut parts.
• Cuts dados on custom pieces according to cut sheet specifications.
• Operates boring machine to make pocket holes.
• Inspects each part to ensure they meet specifications.
• Putties and sands as needed.
• Sets up and operates edge sander.
• Maintains all working areas in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
• Fills in other areas as needed.

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM ; Friday OT if needed

Salary Grade C
