Job summary

Crystal Cabinet Works, Inc. in Princeton, MN seeks an Assembler I to attach doors, drawers and hardware to frameless cabinets. The role begins on 1st shift with Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM–3:15 PM and OT on Fridays/Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Communicates with drafters to clarify jobs and programming.
• Performs touch-ups and repairs.
• Sets up and operates machines (saw, edge bander, router, doweler, pocket screw).
• Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware and adjusts methods as needed.
• Gathers and organizes doors, drawer parts and hardware for weekly workload.
• Maintains knowledge of wood species and measurement tools.

1 st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM ; Friday/Saturday OT required as needed

Salary Grade B

$19.40 - $21.55

Job Summary:

The Assembler I is responsible for attaching doors, drawers, and hardware to Frameless Cabinets.

Job Duties:

• Reviews construction orders and prioritizes work.
• Communicates with drafters as needed to clarify jobs and programming.
• Performs touch-ups and repairs.
• Sets up and operates a variety of machines i.e., chop saws, edge banders, routers, dowelers, pocket screws, etc.
• Assembles cabinets with special parts or hardware, modifying construction methods if needed.
• Maintains knowledge of other departments within the company i.e., drawers, parts, doors as needed to complete jobs.
• Gathers and organizes parts i.e., doors, drawer parts and hardware as needed to complete weekly work load.
• Maintains knowledge of set up to ensure product is properly built.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
• Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
• Fills in other areas as needed.
