Job summary

REV Group is seeking an Electrical Assembler to build and wire harnesses for fire apparatus at our Snyder, NE facility. You will read engineering drawings, assemble components, and test products to ensure they meet specifications.

The role requires basic electrical knowledge, precise measurement, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting. Ideal candidates have up to 1 year of manufacturing experience, the ability to read schematics, and the stamina to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
  • Final assembly of parts and hardware.
  • Test products to ensure performance to specifications.
  • Report repetitive quality issues.

What a day in the life of an Electrical Assembler at REV looks like:

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:
  • Preferred 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to understand both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
  • Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening
