Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an entry-level Assembler I to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble products in strict accordance with detailed work instructions, with comprehensive training and ongoing support in a regulated production environment.

In this role, you will set up stations, verify parts, perform quality inspections, and support continuous improvement. The position offers a stable 6:00 AM to 3:20 PM schedule, safety-conscious work, and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 months of related assembly experience and/or technical training.
• Demonstrated hands-on soldering skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong visual acuity: color vision and depth perception.

Skills

• Active IPC soldering certification (e.g., IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001).

• Basic mathematical proficiency: adding/subtracting two‑digit numbers, multiplying/dividing by 10s and 100s, and working with standard units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Foundational computer skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and understand English instructions (both written and verbal).
• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated, compliance-driven manufacturing environment.
