Job summary

Compensation

$17.00- $18.40 Nonexempt (Hourly)

Responsibilities
  • Assembles products by comparing components to a finished model or visual aid and reading work.
  • Use tools such as soldering irons, screwdrivers, hand cutters, pliers, etc.
  • Locate, verify, inspect, and count kitted parts against model and work order quantity.
  • Record any part shortages, errors or overruns to quality log.
  • Maintain a neat work area.
  • Suggest changes in procedures and methods to increase efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate/GED, soldering and assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to follow and perform inspection procedures provided through written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, to accurately count and verify parts and quantities.
  • Ability to accurately distinguish color-coded components, wires, or product markings used in the assembly process.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately, maintain an organized work area, follow procedures, and meet established quality and productivity expectations.
  • This position requires frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the work area during the shift, with reasonable accommodation as required by law.
