Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling air units and parts according to specifications. Under supervision, assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical systems to create subassemblies or complete units using hand and power tools, jigs, and fixtures. Ensures parts meet tolerances and product requirements, and repairs units as needed. The role involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, heights, and electrical risks, requiring protective gear.

Job Responsibilities
  • Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and instructions to build and assemble parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform assembly functions using hand or power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Develop positive relationships within the company.
  • Ensure a safe work environment at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Wear protective gear as required.

  • Represent the organizational culture, including mission, vision, and core attributes.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical or trade school education is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly or construction, or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and fork trucks after training and certification.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, capable of applying significant torque.
Physical Demands
  • Lift and move objects up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work in repetitive motions.
  • Stand for long periods, work at heights, and in various physical positions.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
