Due to rapid growth, Marathon is Hiring Immediately reliable Truss Assemblers to work at Lumber company located in Ooltewah, TN. and a leading manufacturer in its markets .

Job Details:

• This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity!
• 2nd Shift Monday to Friday (40-50 hours per week) and Saturdays may be required, depending on work volume.
• Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour 1st shift $17.00 2nd shift

Responsibilities:

· Assembler I is responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer specifications

· Works under immediate supervision; relies on specific direction and instructions

· Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation

· Completes work area set up

· Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards

· Operates hand tools as required to complete assembly process

· Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components/finished product

· Maintains production records as required

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to work in Cold and hot conditions
• Physically demanding
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Ability to work in a safe manner
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
• Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools and pneumatic
• Punctual and reliable
