Job summary

Rural King Farm and Home Store is seeking a hands-on associate to assemble all types of products sold in-store, including grills, furniture and equipment. You will cross-train to assist in Maintenance, Shop, Receiving and other areas as needed, while maintaining a safe, clean atmosphere and providing customer and coworker support.

This is physical, non-office work requiring following directions, independence, and the ability to operate retail equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Mechanical abilities and the capacity to follow instructions.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a team and independently.
• Comfort with using in-store computers and scanning systems.
• Willingness to complete computer-based training and remote onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assemble all types of products sold at store locations.
• Cross train to assist in Maintenance, Shop, Receiving, etc.
• Maintain a safe and clean atmosphere while helping customers and co-workers.
• Operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, Telxon gun and other retail equipment.
• May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
