Job summary

Rural King is seeking a hands-on assembler to build and display merchandise in our store locations. The role requires following assembly instructions, operating standard office and retail equipment, and lifting up to 30 pounds. The job offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include assembling grills, furniture and farm equipment, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and cross-training in other areas as needed.

• Assemble and assist with merchandise displays.
• Operate general office equipment (telephone, copy machine, fax, calculator, computer).
• Operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jack, Telxon gun and other retail equipment.
• May cross-train and perform other duties as needed.

What You’ll do

Assemble all types of products sold at store locations. Cross train to assist in other areas as needed including Maintenance, Shop, Receiving, etc. You’ll work to maintain a safe and clean atmosphere while providing assistance to customers and co-workers. This is physical work (not an office job) so come prepared! Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
