Job summary

Rural King in Florida is seeking a dedicated helper to assemble grills, furniture, lawn and farm equipment and assist with displays. You will work to maintain a safe, clean store and provide customer and coworker support in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role involves physical work, lifting up to 30 pounds, and requires following directions, independence, and the ability to use standard store equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical abilities and experience.
• Quick learner with ability to adapt to tasks.
• Able to follow assembly instructions accurately.
• Able to work with the team in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently without supervision.
• Access and use in-store computer, scanning system, and handheld device.
• Able to participate in online applicant onboarding remotely.
• Willing to complete computer-based training.

Responsibilities

• Assemble retail merchandise such as grills, furniture, lawn equipment, farm equipment.
• Assemble and assist with merchandise displays.
• Use general office equipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator, computer.
• Operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jack, Telxon gun and other retail equipment.
• May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
