Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group is seeking a Grinder Assembler Operator in Indiana to ensure components meet engineering and quality standards while maintaining production flow. The role emphasizes safe, organized workflow and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, comfort with measurements and gauging devices (calipers, micrometers), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Grinding experience is preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their application.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to use, read, and understand gauging equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Grinding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and pack product from assembly lines.
• Actively administer job plans and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures.
• Ensure all products are handled according to quality standards.
• Utilize gauging equipment to ensure components meet specs.
• Produce high quality product, in line with hourly metrics.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot assigned machine.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Grinder Assembler Operator is responsible for ensuring components are created based on engineering and quality standards that satisfy our customer’s requirements. The Grinder Assembler Operator will ensure proper production levels are met, while maintaining their machine and be diligent about keeping a clean and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Washing and packing product from assembly lines
• Actively administer job plans and procedures
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures
• Ensure all products are handled according to quality standards
• Utilize gauging equipment to ensure components are up to specification
• Produce high quality product, in line with the set hourly metrics
• Set-up, operate and troubleshoot assigned machine

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of measurements, drawings and their corresponding application
• Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to use, read, and understand gauging equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Grinding experience highly preferred.
