Job summary

Wieland is hiring an Assembler/Equipment Operator I in Delaware, OH, to ensure components are machined and finished as specified, meeting quality standards. This is an on-site, first-shift role with a 6:00am–4:30pm schedule.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour with biweekly pay; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid vacation and holidays. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years manufacturing experience; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with PPE;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and wear PPE.
• Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use standard hand and power tools.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow production orders and company procedures to assemble parts into final assemblies.
• Use power tools or specialized equipment to fabricate pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Prepare parts for assembly by grinding, blasting, or cutting metals.
• Assemble in accordance with procedures and document quality standards.
• Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance as instructed.
• Suggest new methods or equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
