Parker Hannifin in Blaine, MN, is seeking an Assembler B to join our Motion Systems Group and Hydraulic Actuator Division. You will contribute to line component assembly, sub-assembly, test, and final wash operations, supporting quality and on-time production.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work by studying job packets, using parts, sub-assemblies, tools and materials.
  • Assembles parts and sub-assemblies per work instructions and checks fit.
  • Verifies specifications via visual inspection and test equipment.
  • Maintains quality and adheres to standard work and safety procedures.
  • Escalates issues to Lead or Supervisor to obtain resources.
  • Documents actions on production and quality forms.

We have an exciting opening for an Assembler B located in Blaine, MN. This role supports line component assembly and individual sub-assembly, material and final washing, rework and repair operations, and pallet loading. The Assembler B assists in maintaining quality and manufacturing processes to meet company objectives and achieve customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities would include -

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying job packet and work instruction and Kanban board. Utilizes available parts, sub-assemblies, tools and materials required to manufacture and test products
  • Examine parts for correct fit then assembles parts and subassemblies per the work instruction
  • Verify specifications are met through visual inspection, automated measuring/monitoring equipment and final test equipment.
  • Demonstrates capability to meet standard level of productivity
  • Proactively works to resolve problems related to meeting specifications; communicating to Lead or Supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms (i.e. scrap tags)
  • Escalates issues to Lead or Supervisor which prevent the execution of standard work in their work center (i.e. issues with worn or missing or out-of-calibration tools, issues with functionality of equipment in work center, missing components, quality issues, etc.)
  • Initiates programs and operates test stands
  • Assists Engineering in troubleshooting general issues
  • Maintains product quality by following established procedures (i.e. standard work, scrap procedure, etc.) and customer requirements
  • Promotes and maintains a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations; Notifies Lead or Supervisor immediately of problems
  • Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
  • Participates and contributes to team effort by working toward daily metrics posted in specific work areas
  • Maintains daily housekeeping to promote clean, productive environment
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Lead or Supervisor

Who we are looking for talent with -

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of computers and willingness to advance skills as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends, as determined by business needs.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to walk, stand, balance, stoop, or crouch. Must be able to stand for 10-12 hours per day.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $21.11/hr to $24/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
