Aerotek is hiring Weekend Medical Device Assemblers for an on-site role in Irvine, CA. The Assembler I will perform electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly, requiring hand-assembly skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and FDA regulations. Strong reading of procedures and use of measurement tools is expected.

Shift is 3/12 weekend, with 12-hour Friday–Sunday days and nights. Competitive pay range and benefits for eligible temporary roles.

Job Description

The Assembler I will perform duties associated with electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly and packaging. This position requires manual hand assembly skills, attention to detail, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to produce consistently high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Support company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations.

• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), and safety and environmental standards.

• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers.

• Work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Pay meticulous attention to detail and meet deadlines.

• Learn new equipment and processes quickly and demonstrate proficiency in their operation.

• Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures written in English.

• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in work and monitor work quality.

• Practice and advocate good safety skills at all times.

Essential Skills

• Assembly and production skills in cleanroom settings.

• Experience with medical device assembly.

• Proficiency in using hand tools like micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to operate electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma.

• Prior medical device or manufacturing experience

• Ability to work well in cross-functional team environments.

• Strong attention to detail for high-quality work and issue detection.

• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures.

• Ability to use computers for product transactions and online training.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
