Job summary

MB Companies, an Aebi Schmidt brand located in New Holstein, WI, is hiring assemblers to build surface maintenance equipment per blueprints and specifications.

You will read diagrams, fit and assemble parts, route electrical and hydraulic components, test assemblies, and operate a crane/forklift. This full-time role offers benefits and PPE reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Follow established work instructions and sequences.
• Attention to detail and ability to verify conformity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble component parts according to specifications.
• Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts; attach hardware.
• Route and terminate electrical components; calibrate units.
• Route and install hydraulic components.
• Test parts for leakage, continuity, and function.
• Clean, lubricate, and rework or replace faulty parts.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, etc.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift.

Position

Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assembles component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
• Fits, trims, aligns, and adjusts parts and components, along with attaching hardware and sealing assembly.
• Routes and ties electrical components, along with calibrating unit according to specification(s).
• Routes and installs hydraulic components.
• Tests installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
• Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies, along with reworks, repairs, or replacing faulty component parts.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
• Ability to work from established work instructions and follow sequence of operations.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools along with inspection equipment, and crate, pack, and move finished goods.
• Disassemble, replace parts, and assist in staging parts for painting as required.
• Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.
• Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
• Strong attention to detail.
