Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies per BOM and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, testers and follow 6S standards to keep area clean and organized.
• Report defective materials to Quality per reject process.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.
• Follow ISO 9001 requirements and safety guidelines at all times.
• Attend team meetings and work with supervisory staff on schedules.

Job description

Summary: Correctly assembles and tests pumps, systems, and related products to customer expectations using hand tools, testers, work instructions, and Bill of Materials while working in a team environment.

• Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies per work instructions, Bill of Materials, and best practices.
• Demonstrate ability to use electronic and pneumatic tools to build product.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Department per defined reject process.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to 6S standards.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required per PM requirements.
• Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes as necessary.
• Operates fork truck or hand pallet jack as necessary.
• Works at the directions of the Department Supervisor and Team Leads.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
• Participates in Team meetings and projects.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• You will be expected to operate according to ISO 9001 requirements.
• Held responsible and accountable to follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use good safety judgment. Expected to report all unsafe activities and conditions to the Supervisor and/or Safety Representative.
