Job summary

Liberty Pumps in the United States is seeking a hands-on assembler to correctly assemble and test pumps, systems, and related products in a team environment using hand tools, testers, and the Bill of Materials.

You will perform bench-type assembly, operate electrical and pneumatic tools, and follow work instructions while maintaining 6S standards and complying with ISO 9001 requirements. A high school diploma or GED is required, with production experience preferred.

  • High school diploma or GED; production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies per work instructions, Bill of Materials, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate ability to use electronic and pneumatic tools to build product.
  • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Department per defined reject process.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to 6S standards.
  • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required per PM requirements.
  • Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes as necessary.
  • Operates fork truck or hand pallet jack as necessary.
  • Works at the directions of the Department Supervisor and Team Leads.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
  • Participates in Team meetings and projects.
  • Works effectively in a team environment.
  • You will be expected to operate according to ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Held responsible and accountable to follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use good safety judgment.
