Job summary

Fox Factory, Inc. is seeking an entry-level assembler to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies. You will study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare parts and tools and to position items for assembly.

You will ensure correct fit, verify specifications by measurement, maintain tools and equipment, keep a clean, safe workspace, manage supplies, and document production and quality data. No experience required; 1+ year in related areas is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in controls, instrumentation, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing quality.

Position Summary

Position Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, and gathers required parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies using templates or measured dimensions.
• Assembles components, ensuring correct fit and fastening of parts and sub-assemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Maintains equipment operation by performing preventative maintenance, following manufacturer instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Manages supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and verifying receipt of new supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Position Qualifications

• Education: High‑school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required, 1+ year preferred in controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance, manufacturing or manufacturing quality environment, and mechanical inspection or power tools.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Constantly (6+ hours): Stand, walk, twist/turn, stoop/bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder.
• Occasionally (1–3 hours): Perform other tasks as requested.
• Intermittently (<1 hour): Lift to 50 lbs.
• Indoor, 100% of time: Dusty/dirty conditions, medium noise (70–85dB), high vibration, mechanical hazards, chemical hazards.
