Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Franklin, WI is seeking an Assembly worker to build production units according to drawings, using power tools and cranes. You will assemble walls, frames, and subassemblies, insulate and seal components, and prep units for finishing.

Expect a 4:30PM–2:30AM shift and a pay rate of $23.00 per hour. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for hours, and familiarity with tools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install doors, frames, gaskets, and components per specification.
• Apply sealants to ensure product integrity.
• Prepare units for finishing and final inspection.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and proper handling.
• Follow SOPs and collaborate with team leads to meet production goals.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and keep a clean work environment.
• Support quality standards and complete tasks as directed.

This role involves assembling and preparing production units by safely operating power tools and equipment, including cranes and saws, while following engineering drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include installing structural components, insulation, walls, doors, and subassemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate power tools and equipment, including drills, impact guns, grinders, saws, rivet guns, and overhead cranes
• Assemble wall panels, structural components, and complete units according to engineering drawings, cut lists, and Bills of Materials
• Perform insulation cutting, installation, and sealing using appropriate tools, jigs, and materials
• Install components such as walls, doors, frames, filters, gaskets, and subassemblies to specification
• Apply sealants (silicone, caulking) to ensure product integrity
• Prepare and clean units for finishing processes including final inspection
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper material handling
• Follow standard operating procedures and collaborate with team leads to meet production goals
• Perform routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Support quality standards by detailing and finalizing products for inspection and completing assigned tasks as directed by management
