Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to build units from prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models on the production line. You will use power and hand tools, follow safety and quality checks, and transport materials as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and production experience or ability to read prints and CAD models. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd with overtime; base pay 25.59/hour plus a 5.00 differential and a 30.59/hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD models in order to meet production specifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Using various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Reads blueprints work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
• Use computer to access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms. Keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in order to assemble product on the production line. This may include the use of power tools, hand tools, overhead hoists and fixtures to complete assembly and transport material to and from the work station. Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.

Hours:

2nd Shift : 2:00PM - 10:00PM Mon-Fri (Saturday Overtime Mandatory)

3rd Shift : 10:00PM-6:00AM Mon-Fri (Saturday Overtime Mandatory)

Base Pay $25.59 With Differential $30.59/hour

Shift Differential: $5.00

Key Responsibilities
