Join our team as an Assembly Technician where you'll play a vital role in constructing and assembling equipment using hand and power tools. Your keen attention to detail and ability to follow blueprints will contribute to our high-quality production standards.
Use hand tools to attach and assemble systems and components to equipment.
Pull parts and part kits, assembling them utilizing hand and power tools.
Follow blueprints and written instructions accurately.
Support operations in the assembly department.
Pull jobs and organize parts efficiently.
Maintain a neat and organized work area using the 5S+ Safety approach.
Support and participate in all LEAN activities.
Adhere to all OSHA compliance regulations.
Perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Collaborate effectively as a team member and undertake additional duties as required by supervision.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Proficiency in reading blueprints or assembly drawings.
Experience with micrometers and calipers.
Ability to lift regularly up to 25lbs., intermittently up to 40lbs., and occasionally up to 75lbs. with team assistance.
Open to both assembly and warehousing work.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to communicate and document work effectively.
Basic math skills.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wadsworth, OH.
The pay range for this position is $21.17 - $21.17/hr.
