Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking an Assembler 2 in Wilmington, MA. You will assemble and test electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assemblies in a cleanroom environment.

You will follow methods and sequences for wiring, component installation, and hand soldering, while meeting blueprint tolerances. The role includes set-ups, adjustments, and potential testing duties to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience
• Experience with assembly, wiring, hand soldering, and cable harnessing is a plus
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assemblies
• Follow wiring sequences, install components, perform hand soldering and cable harnessing
• Set up and adjust assemblies to blueprint specifications
• Test equipment and products as needed

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Assembler 2 at MKS, you will assemble and test units in the Sensor Department.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Performing a wide variety of electronic, Electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units
• Make set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
• May be responsible for testing equipment and products

Skills You Bring:

• 1+ Years of job-related work experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Windows based computers

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $16.70 - 27.83 USD per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
