Job summary

MKS, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II to join the Operations team in Lawrence, MA. This role involves assembling complex products and subassemblies per detailed work instructions and drawings, with responsibility for tolerances, testing, and documentation.

You will work with a manufacturing team focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will report to the Operations Manager and contribute to lean manufacturing and 5S activities while mentoring junior assemblers as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related experience required.
• Able to work Monday - Friday, 6:50am - 3:20pm.
• TIG welding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex products, subassemblies, and components per work instructions and drawings.
• Determine methods and sequence of operations for assembly, welding, and testing.
• Set up and adjust to blueprint tolerances.
• Test equipment and products as needed.
• Run wash station to clean parts.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues using established procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities.
• Maintain production records and documentation.

This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
