Triumph Integrated Systems - Electronics and Controls, located in Forest, Ohio, is seeking a team-oriented assembler to perform a variety of assembly, testing and repair tasks. You will read blueprints, use hand tools, and work within aerospace standards to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations, leak testing and hydrostatic testing as required.

• Use all hand tools and fixtures; identify leaks and ensure product quality.
• Follow safety policies and work procedures; maintain clean work area free of FOD.
• Coordinate with engineering to improve processes as needed.

Triumph Integrated Systems - Electronics and Controls, located in Forest, Ohio, is a leading independent aerospace supplier of mission critical thermal and fluid management products for commercial and military platforms. The company provides solutions utilized on aircraft, engine, advance weapons pods, cruise missiles, avionics & electronic systems.

Scope of Job

• Performs all required assembly operations, including air under water leak testing and hydrostatic testing, a variety of inspection/checking duties on assemblies; rework and repair operations as required in the normal process steps; disassembly, repair and testing of parts or assemblies; miscellaneous finishing procedures; machine work as required and setup and operate necessary testing equipment.

Education/Prerequisite Skills

• Ability to read and write, interpret measurements and readings, exercise sound independent judgment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and work process instructions.
• Ability to move parts and equipment in a safe and practical manner.
• Ability to relate to and interact appropriately with others in a team environment and a willingness to assist, educate and train others.
• Ability to use hand tools and inspect gauges.
• Consistently comply with all applicable safety and health rules and regulations including compliance with a respiratory protection program and hearing conservation, if applicable.
• Must comply with FAA requirements for "safety sensitive" position.
• Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
• Due to our company's position as a key supplier to the US defense industry. All employees must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States.

Duties

• All applicable leak test processes.
• Maintain all required data and records in a complete and timely manner.
• Utilize all hand tools.
• Rework and repair parts per Aerospace standards.
• Consistently comply with all safety policies and work procedures.
• Monitor fixtures that need repaired and inform supervision.
• Maintains cleanliness of work place and equipment, free of FOD.
• Ability to identify internal leaks.
• Understand fill process for machining.
• Follow work procedure for time limit unit should be under pressure.
• Work with engineering to improve processes as needed.
• Use oven as efficient as possible to keep product flowing.
• Be diligent to completely dry units before moving to next process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, (GED) or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• General mechanical knowledge/background.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instruction. (oral and written).
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Prefer ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
• Intermediate computer skills.
