Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler for Land Pride in Lucas, KS to build and assemble agricultural equipment using hand and power tools, reading prints, and following daily schedules.

You'll work Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Fridays, operate at multiple stations, and support lean manufacturing practices while adhering to safety regulations and PPE requirements at our Lucas facility.

Responsibilities

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or fasten parts by hand or with hand/power tools.
• Read prints and use a tape measure as required.
• Tend machines and use tools such as impact wrenches for assembly operations.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Assist on line where tasks vary with different models.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE.

Full Time Manual Labor Lucas, KS, US

Land Pride, a division of Great Plains Mfg, is seeking a 1 st Shift Assembler for our facility in Lucas, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:0 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: .

• Follow and complete daily build schedule.
• Bolt, clip, screw, cement, or otherwise fasten parts togetherby hand, or using hand tools or portable power tools.
• Read prints and use a tape measure as required.
• Tend machines and use tools, such as impact wrenches, to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
• Work at different work stations as production needs require.
• Work on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line or at a fixed assembly station.
• Monitor assembly tasks and recommend quality improvement initiatives to the assembly/shipping manager.
• Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
• Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
