Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an assembler to join our Lancaster Filtration team. You will assemble various types of filters and components to production specifications, supporting quality and efficiency.

The shift is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–3:20pm, with optional Saturday hours. We offer incentives, healthcare, retirement plans, education reimbursement, and a clean, climate-controlled facility to support your growth.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications and accurately use measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of basic math to measure, record, and report production data.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve production.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various types of filters and component parts to production specifications.
• May perform production processes including spinning, applying adhesive/plastisol, cutting media, wrap, spot welding, debossing and seaming, repair, packing and inspecting.
• Use basic computer functions for daily orders and inventory adjustments.
• Complete inventories daily/weekly/monthly as needed.
• Complete first-piece and in-process inspections; escalate defects to supervisor/quality.
• Maintain regular attendance and participate in 5S and lean activities.

Job description

Position Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and producing various types of filters. Performing such duties as stapling, applying wrap to pleats, capping, assembling tubes and springs, spot welding, seaming, spinning, spinning adhesive/plastisol, cutting media, wrap or other material as required. Applying gaskets and inspecting. May require tucking and filter repair, packaging and stacking of product.

First Shift Hours:

Monday to Friday, 5:00am - 3:20pm (10 hours).

If there is a scheduled or voluntary Saturday, the shift will be 5:00am - 10:00am.

Lancaster's Parker Hannifin Filtration--Wages & Benefits:

• Pay rate $17.75/hour($50,765 - $54,226 annually)
• Paid Holidays (13 days each year), Vacation (10 days per year) and Sick Time (40 hours)
• You will be eligible for Parker Hannifin's Annual Cash Incentive Plan (ACIP) beginning on your first day of employment, with a target opportunity of 5% of annual eligible earnings and potential payouts from 50% to 200% of target based on Adjusted DNE, sales revenue, and cash flow performance for the Hydraulic and Aerospace Filtration Division.

Responsibilities

• Assemble various types of filters and component parts to production specifications.
• May perform assigned production processes as required, including spinning; applying adhesive and/or plastisol to products or components; cutting media, wrap, or other materials; complete spot welding, debossing, and seaming on filters or components; minor filter repair; and packing and inspecting finished products.
• Use basic computer functions for daily orders and inventory adjustments.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly inventories, as needed.
• Complete firstpiece and inprocess inspections; secure supervisor and/or quality assistance to correct defects or deficiencies as they occur.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required.
• Actively participates in department problem solving, lean events and high-performance teams.
• Participate in 5S and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime hours as required by business need.
• Must work in a safe manner observing all company procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety.

Education and Experience

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Have the skill to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications and accurately use measuring instruments.
• Have knowledge of basic math (Perform arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals (add, subtract, multiply, divide)) to measure, record, and report production and quality data.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members to resolve issues, prioritize tasks, and work towards continuous production.
