Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. in Streetsboro, OH seeks a reliable Vinyl Window Assembler for the 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6am–4:30pm; Fridays overtime).

You will assemble vinyl window components on a production line, fitting frames, glass, and hardware to spec while following safety standards. This full-time position involves inspecting finished products, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting daily production goals while adhering to PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity: ability to handle small parts with precision and perform repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail: meticulously inspect each window for quality issues.
• Basic mechanical skills: understanding of hand and power tools.
• Reading comprehension: ability to read and interpret work orders.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate $19.00 per hour

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am - 4:30 pm (Friday overtime)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vinyl window assembler you will meticulously assemble the components of vinyl windows using various tools and machinery, ensuring all parts are properly fitted together according to specifications, while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols in a production line setting.

Responsibilities:

• Attach frame sections, install glass panes, and secure hardware using hand and power tools such as screw guns
• Inspect completed windows for defects like gaps, misalignment, and damage, ensuring they meet quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work within established timelines to meet daily production goals
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
