This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Assembles and/or fabricates parts to create relatively small or light fuse assemblies. Follows steps and checks quality of parts made within stated specifications for all work performed. Assemblers are trained on multiple job assignments and workstations to complete work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assembles parts per MOIs and assures quality of parts made
  2. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  3. Uses hands and small hand tools to assemble
  4. Reads and interprets technical diagrams/drawings/instructions for assembly of products
  5. Must meet or exceed company safety requirements
  6. Complete all mandatory Safety, OSHA, and ISO 9001 training
  7. Reads work instructions to determine job specifications, adjustments, and material requirements
  8. Follows quality plans, reads and applies work instructions and blueprints
  9. Measures work piece dimensions to ensure accuracy using dial calipers, snap gauges, or micrometers
  10. Stacks, marks, packs, and transports finished work pieces
  11. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the role
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand Manufacturing Operating Instructions (English)
  • Ability to read and understand training procedures and complete evaluations
  • Work authorization to work for ABB in the US
