Assembler 1 - 2nd shift

This position reports to: Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Assembles and fabricates small or light fuse assemblies, following steps and quality checks within specified standards. Assemblers are trained on multiple job assignments and workstations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assembles parts according to MOIs, ensuring quality.
  2. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts to meet tolerances and specifications.
  3. Uses hands and small tools for assembly.
  4. Interprets technical diagrams, drawings, and instructions.
  5. Adheres to safety requirements and completes mandatory safety, OSHA, and ISO 9001 training.
  6. Reads work instructions to determine job specifications, adjustments, and material needs.
  7. Follows quality plans, work instructions, and blueprints.
  8. Measures workpieces using dial calipers, snap gauges, or micrometers.
  9. Stacks, marks, packs, and transports finished work pieces.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand Manufacturing Operating Instructions in English.
  • Ability to understand training procedures and complete evaluations.
  • Legal work authorization in the US for ABB.
